Because DMCart acts as a technological platform enabling independent merchants ("Sellers") to establish online stores and sell products to end consumers ("Buyers"), our refund structure operates in two distinct categories:
Direct UPI Settlements: Transactions executed on individual merchant storefronts (dmcart.shop/store_name) are settled directly between the Buyer and the Seller via UPI. DMCart does not collect, touch, hold, or route these funds.
Merchant Responsibility: Each individual Seller is solely responsible for establishing, publishing, and enforcing their own specific return, exchange, and refund rules on their storefront.
Dispute Resolution:If a Buyer experiences an issue with an order (e.g., undelivered goods, damaged items, or incorrect digital files), the Buyer must reach out directly to the Seller utilizing the contact credentials displayed on the Seller's store. DMCart cannot issue direct financial refunds for transactions executed via direct peer-to-peer UPI.
Platform Escalation: If a Seller acts fraudulently or refuses to fulfill valid customer orders, Buyers can report the store to DMCart at support@dmcart.shop. We will investigate and immediately terminate fraudulent merchant accounts.
For premium optional SaaS tools or "Pro Plan" subscriptions billed directly by DMCart via payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree), the following terms apply:
If you have questions regarding your subscription billing or need guidance on a merchant dispute, reach out to us at support@dmcart.shop.
